Ruthanne Dahill

Ruthanne Dahill, 81, died at 4:19 a.m. July 26, 2008, at her residence. She was born November 19, 1926, in Findlay, Ohio to John and Gladys Fickle Fenton, who preceded her in death. On May 7, 1947, she married Donald Dahill, who died December 4, 1980. Mrs. Dahill was a member of Gold Star Mothers and Orioles Nest 173, Lima, Ohio. She loved to sew, paint, flower gardening and crochet. She was an avid card player and putting together puzzles. Survivors include a son, John Dahill, of Lima, Ohio; a daughter, Carol J. (Robert) Long, of Middleburg, Florida; a brother, Tom Fenton, of Lima, Ohio; three grandchildren, Brett Julien, Nicole (Tony) Smith Davis, and Douglas Dahill; four great-grandchildren, Allesha, Adrian, Alleah and Alexandria; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Rosemary Topp; a son, Douglas Dahill; and a daughter, Anita M. Smith. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
