Ruthella Burgoon-Frost

RUTHELLA ?RUTH? BURGOON-FROST, 89, died at 3:30 a.m. January 11, 2007, at Beverly Health Care. She was born October 14, 1917, in Lima, Ohio to Frank and Florence Sanders Rentz, who preceded her in death. She married John A. Burgoon, who preceded her in death. On July 14, 1983, she married Kenneth Frost, who also preceded her in death. Mrs. Burgoon-Frost was a homemaker. She was an avid gardener and a member of the Lima Garden Club. She was also a member of Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge 54. She loved to dance. Survivors include a son, James R. (Linda) Burgoon, of Lima, Ohio; a daughter, Diane (Fred) Blonstein, of Centerville, Ohio; a stepdaughter, Nancy Bohan, of California; a stepson, David (Lucinda) Frost, of Texas; a brother, Ed Rentz, of Lima, Ohio; two sisters, Catherine Phenegar, of Lima, Ohio, and Jean Cawein, of Cleveland, Ohio; and four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Leonard Rentz, Bill Rentz, Bob Rentz and Jim Rentz. Services will begin at 2 p.m. Monday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Howard Allison will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home.
