Ryan Patrick Knoch, 36, died July 15, 2010, at his residence. He was born Nov. 1, 1973, in Lima, the son of Ben and Chris Estes, who survive in Elida. Mr. Knoch attended Apollo Career Center and graduated from Wapakoneta High School in 1992. He was employed at Proctor & Gamble in Lima. He was a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Eugue Rye Karate. He had been a karate instructor at several places in Allen County. He was an independent person and a freethinker with spiritual ties. He was an avid Browns fan and fantasy football player. His greatest joys in life were being a father and spending time with his sons. Survivors also include two sons, Jaiden Guy Knoch and Jarrod Patrick Knoch, both of Lima; maternal grandfather, Roy Kohler, of Wapakoneta; paternal grandmother, Georgianna Knoch, of St. Johns; a sister, Kylie Beth Knoch, of Dayton; and a brother, Zachary I. Knoch, of Elida. He was preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Dorothy Ream Kohler; and paternal grandfather, Allen Wayne Knoch. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. David Harris will officiate. Burial will be in Allentown Cemetery.
