Sandra J. Edwards

Sandra J Edwards, 77, passed away at 4:20 a.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at home surrounded by family, and under the care of Interim Hospice.

Sandra was born on November 19, 1946, in Lima, Ohio, to Carl Musselman and Juanita (Jones) Musselman. 

Sandra was a 1965 graduate of Elida High School and received her Nursing license in 1995 from Lima Technical College. She worked as an RN at St Rita’s hospital for approximately 15 years. She was also a CASA volunteer (Court Appointed Special Advocate), working on behalf of children. 

She is survived by her daughter, Lynette (Chadrick) Williams of Lima; son, Christopher Edwards of North Carolina and retired from the Army; daughter, Kimberly Edwards Jaramillo of New Mexico; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Dennis (Beth) Musselman; and sister, Pamela Hartman.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, David Jaramillo; grandson, Andrew Jaramillo; brother, Richard “Dick” Musselman of Arizona; sister, Alene “Kay” Ganczarski of Michigan; and brother-in-law, Richard “Dick” Hartman.

 Services will be held from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Crossroads Church of God, 775 S.Thayer Rd., Lima. Pastor Brian Robertson will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to CASA or Interim Hospice.
