Sandra Kay Punches, 75, walked into the arms of Jesus on August 20, 2022, at Mercy Health St. Rita’s Medical Center.
Sandra was born on December 15, 1946 in Emoryville, West Virginia to James and Madge Elaine (McCauley) Harding. She married Kenneth Punches on May 21, 1968, who preceded her in death in 2009.
Sandra was a member and minister of Grace Fellowship Church and enjoyed reading and studying her Bible. Sandra consistently prayed over Perry Schools and with anyone who wanted prayer. She enjoyed having ladies to her house for formal tea parties, and also loved shopping at the Goodwill store in Eastgate.
She is survived by her children: Sherry (Nicholas) Hale, Barbara (Jerome) Luzung, Crystal (Tony) Eberle, and Chasticy Jarrell; grandchildren: Kenneth (Ellece) Joiner, Justin (Brittany) Catlett, Olivia Grant, Jonathan Longmeier, Airyanna and Brooklynn Jarrell; and one great-granddaughter, Tayla Sperl; a brother, James (Buleah) Harding; and nieces and nephews, Angela (Jody) Karhoff, Robert (Rachael) Harding, Allen (Sandra) Harding, and Renae (Jeffrey) Risak.
She was preceded in death by her siblings: Barbara (Frank) Abram, Robert (Jane) Harding, and Sharon Yvonne Harding
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio. A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at the funeral home. Rev. Nathan Branim will officiate. Burial will follow at Roundhead Cemetery, Roundhead, OH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace Fellowship Church.
