SARA L. "SALLY" BRYAN, 86, died at 10:35 a.m. November 7, 2006, at VanCrest Health Care Center. She was born June 10, 1920, in Van Wert, Ohio to Robert and Vera Parks Tindall, who preceded her in death. On April 16, 1938, she married Bernard "Ed" Bryan, who died May 5, 1993. Mrs. Bryan was a homemaker. She was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church, where she was a longtime financial secretary and served in several other positions. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed spending her evenings sitting in her driveway visiting her friends and family. Survivors also include a son, Larry (Linda) Bryan, of Elida, Ohio; a daughter-in-law, Sue Bryan, of Ada, Ohio; four grandchildren, Chad (Susan) Bryan and Niki (Craig) Holcomb, both of Elida, Ohio, and Blake Bryan and Heather Anderson, both of Ada, Ohio; two step grandsons, Rob (Michelle) McPheron, of New Port Richey, Florida, and Tim (Susan) McPheron, of Elida, Ohio; 13 great-grandchildren; a sister, Ethel Miller, of Van Wert, Ohio; and longtime family friend, Jennie Sherrick, of Elida, Ohio. She was preceded in death by a son, Brent Bryan; a sister, Edythe Holtsberry; and a brother, Don Tindall. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Immanuel United Methodist Church. The Rev. Gary Rode will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Elida, Ohio. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Friday at the church.
