Sara Ann Woolley, 64, died at 1 a.m. December 2, 2010, at her residence, following an extended battle with ALS. She was born January 4, 1946, in Lima, Ohio to James and Naomi Rudolph Lawton, who preceded her in death. On June 21, 1964, she married John Woolley, who survives in Lima, Ohio. Mrs. Woolley was a member of Lima Community Church of the Nazarene and its choir and Alpha Class. She also helped with its Vacation Bible School, Royal Family Kids Camp and the Children?s Church. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors also include a daughter, Sheri (Jeremy) Welker, of Lima, Ohio; a son, John D. Woolley, of Atlanta; two brothers, James R. (Wanda) Lawton, of Macedonia, and Robert M. (Arlene) Lawton, of Englewood, N.J.; a sister, Bonnie (Chuck) Meyer, of Bellingham, Wash.; three grandchildren, Brianna, Benjamin and Lydia; and two brothers-in-law, Joe Conley, of Findlay, Ohio, and George (Marilyn) Woolley, of Lima, Ohio. She was preceded in death by a sister, Sue Conley. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at Lima Community Church of the Nazarene. The Rev. Dan Huckins will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Elida, Ohio. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Monday at the church.
