SCOTT GRAHAM HARMON, 19, died March 2, 2007, in an auto accident. He was born January 25, 1988, in Lima, Ohio to Gary A. and Julie M. Graham Harmon, who survive in Lima, Ohio. Mr. Harmon was a 2006 graduate of Elida High School and was a freshman at Bluffton University, where he was a member of the varsity baseball team as a third baseman. He was a member of New Creation Lutheran Church. He was a member of the National Honor Society. He received Northwest Ohio honors in football and baseball. He received the Art Shreiber Football Award and the Archie Griffin Sportsmanship Award. He was the team captain of his high school football and baseball teams. He had tutored different students at the high school. Anyone who knew Scott knew him as a well-natured young man who always had a smile. He was an avid fan of Ohio State University and of the Green Bay Packers. Survivors also include a sister, Jill (Jimmie) Coppler, of Lima, Ohio; two brothers, Mark Harmon, of Columbus, Ohio, and Ross Harmon, of Lima, Ohio; his paternal grandfather, Jack H. Harmon, of Lima, Ohio; his maternal grandfather, Russell Graham, of Lima, Ohio; and his future fiancee, Lindsey Reiff, of Elida, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Josine Graham and Barbara Harmon. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Elida High School Fieldhouse. Pastor Samuel Payne will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Lima, Ohio. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today and 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
