Scott Lake

Scott Lake, 57, of Lima, passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2021 at his residence. He was born on July 30, 1963 in Lima to Chalmer and Wanda {Hurst} Lake. His mother survives. On September 20, 1995, he married Brenda {Wireman}, who also survives in Lima.

Scott enjoyed talking on the phone with his friends and family, working outside, and watching The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Reds.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his step-son: Roy (Misty) Rister, 3 grand-children: Victoria, Gage, and Gunner Rister, brother: Anthony Lake, sister: Joy (Paul) Warren, 2 fur buddies: Flynn and Cooper, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, sister: Patricia Runkle, mother and father-in-law: Sadie and Joe Wireman, and sister-in-law: Teresa Golden.

His family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 from 6-8 p.m. at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at the funeral home. Pastor Darrell Bucher and Ed Wireman. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.
