Scott Alan Stemen

Scott Alan Stemen, 50, of Lima, died at 3:37 A.M. at St. Rita's Medical Center on Friday December 12, 2014 due to injuries sustained in a vehicular accident. He was born in Lima, OH on November 5, 1964 to Sharon L. (Pohlman) Wagoner and Richard W. Stemen, who survive in Ohio.
On October 1, 1984 he married Paula Prenezio who also survives in Lima.
He was employed by Production Products, Inc. as a Quality Engineer Manager. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served from 1984-1992. Scott was an avid runner, a Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Browns, Lima Locos fan and he was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #2661.
Survivors include a daughter, Sara Elizabeth Stemen; a son, Andrew Joseph Stemen; his mother, Sharon L. Wagoner; father, Richard W. Stemen and his step-father, Richard O. Wagoner, Jr.; sisters, Denise M (Elizabeth Morris) Stemen and Melissa S. (Darin) Michael; his In-laws, Joseph and Lenore Prenezio; two sister-in-laws, Theresa (Don) Staas and Andrea (Guy) Gallello; his grand-mother-in-law, Theresa Venturella and his nieces and nephews- Donald, Krista, Joseph, Jenna, Haley, Jacob, Zachary, and Sydney.
He was preceded in death by his first son, Anthony Michael Stemen.
Friends may call on Monday, December 15, 2014 from 2-8 P.M. at the Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home where a Parish Wake Service will be held at 8 P.M.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday December 16, 2014 at St. Charles Catholic Church at 10:30 A.M.
Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima. Father Stephen Blum will officiate. Graveside military honors will be conducted by V.F.W. Post 1275.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
