SHARON KAY HIGHLAND, 58, died at 12:15 p.m. May 8, 2006, at her residence. She was born Feb. 26, 1948, in Lima to Emmett G. and Lois Hullinger Highland, who preceded her in death. Ms. Highland was a school bus driver for Marimor, Lima city and Elida schools. She was a member of American Legion Post 268 Auxiliary, Delphos, and the ACCRC Radio Club. Survivors include a daughter, Twila (Greg) Mills of Elida; a son, Donald "Donnie" (Missy) Duffman Jr. of Lima; four grandchildren, Trent Duffman, Chase Duffman, Jesse Mills and Cody Mills; three brothers, Art (Connie) Highland of Tennessee, Jim (Sandy) Highland of Lima and Gene (Sharon) Highland of Tennessee; and a sister-in-law, Mary Highland. She was preceded in death by a brother, William Highland; and an infant son, Emmett Wendell Duffman. Services will begin at 7 p.m. Friday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Terry Brock will officiate. Burial of the cremains will be at a later date in Allentown Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until time of services Friday at the funeral home.
