Sharon Lee Lambert,
74, went into the arms of Jesus at 11:59 PM on Thursday, September 8, 2016, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
Sharon was born on Friday, March 27, 1942, in Lima, to the late Ernest and Mary Jane [White] Edwards. On Saturday, December 14, 1974, she married Gary Lambert, who survives in Lima.
Sharon was a member of Gardendale Church of God and a former board member of the Lima Area Program of Drug Abuse. She was a 1960 Lima Sr. High Graduate. She worked at Butlers Drug Store, the Lima Mall and Dots Incorporated.
She is survived by: daughters, Deidra Lambert, Arlene (Ricky) Williams, Mobile, AL, Shanda (Dustin) Cox, Lima and Judy (Blaine) Rex, Lima; grandchildren, Melissa Rex, Emily Rex, Angela Williams, Keagen Cox, Kale Cox and Kiah Cox and brothers, Jeffory Edwards, Lima, Daniel Stewart, Toledo and Steven Stewart, Lima.
She is preceded in death by: sisters, June Elaine Edwards-Woodfork and Marsha Horace.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 8 PM on Monday, September 12, 2016 at Gardendale Church of God in Lima, Ohio.
A funeral service will begin at 11 AM on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Gardendale Church of God in Lima, Ohio. Justin Musto will officiate. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
