Sharon Lee Metzger,

75, passed away at 11:37 a.m. on Thursday, July 21, 2016, at Baton Rouge Nursing Home in Lima.

Sharon was born on Wednesday, August 28, 1940, to the late Paul and Elythia (Seabert) Koch. On Saturday, July 14, 1962, in Lima, Ohio, she married William S. Metzger who preceded her in death.

Sharon worked in Health Care as a Registered Nurse at Lima Memorial Hospital and Lima Manor and as an EMT with Elida Rescue.

She is survived by: daughters, Julie (Todd States) Flory and Sheila (Carl) Frank; son, William S. Metzger Jr.; grandchildren, Alyssa, Brooke, Ryan, Wyatt, Aiden, Kyle, Savannah and Dallon; great grandchildren, Addyson, Kinsley, Lyric, Blaize and Kellin and sister-in-law, Gerry Koch.

She is preceded in death by: brother, Gene Koch.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A Funeral Service will begin at 1 p.m. on Monday, July 25, 2016 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio. Pastor Tim Benjamin will officiate. Interment will be in Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.
