Sharon K. Michael,
69 of Lima, Ohio died on Thursday, January 19, 2012, at 1:19 P.M. at Lima Memorial Health System in Lima, Ohio.
Born Saturday, May 30, 1942 in St. Elmo, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Louis Henry Freeman and the late Olive Pearl Hatfill Freeman. She was the wife of the late David Lee Michael.
Sharon retired from Lima Memorial Hospital after 40 years. Loved being with her family and animals especially her dogs. She enjoyed her job, helping people and taking care of them. She enjoyed going shopping and baking. She sacrificed a lot in her life for the sake of others.
Surviving are: a three daughters, Paula (Melissa) Michael, Dawn (Mike) Bradley of Lima, OH, Debra Savage of Lima, OH: two sons: Gary (Loretta) Michael of Lima, OH and Jeffrey (Teresa) Michael of Lima, OH: Grandchildren: David Paul Neal of Lima, OH, Theresa Michele Pratt, Melissa Michael, Christopher Michael, Curtis Michael, Monte Allen, Susie Martinez, Raven Savage, and Seventeen great grandchildren: a sister, Carolyn Sidwell of Brownstown, IL: two sisters-in-law, Karen (Mel) Hiller of Lima, OH. and Lana Adkins of Spencerville, OH; two brothers-in-law, Jim Michael of Lima, OH, and Tom (Evelyn) Holiday of Lima, OH.
She was predeceased by daughters, Kara Michael, Teresa L. Michael-Neal, Leah M. Crowder, brothers, Basil Freeman and Henry Freeman, and a brother-in-law Dale Sidwell.
A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home with the Pastor Jon Spyker officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
