Sherman E. "Pork" Hadding, 80 of Lima, Ohio died on Tuesday, September 27, 2011, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, Ohio.
Born Friday, April 17, 1931 in Lima, Ohio, he was the son of the late Marion Hadding and the late Chloe Little Hadding. He was the husband of Martha Haviland Hadding.
Mr. Hadding married Martha Haviland on April 30, 1955, she survives in Lima. He had worked for Lima Register/Milcor for 52 years as a welder. He was a 50 year member of the Ft. Amanda Lodge #706 F&AM and a member of the Eagles Airee #370. He was interested in golfing, bowling, and loved watching his son and grandchildren play sports, He truly loved the Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Browns and The Ohio State Buckeyes.
Surviving are son, Rick Hadding of Wapakoneta, OH, daughter, Kim Collie of Atlanta, GA., three grandchildren, Nick Hadding, Ryan Hadding, Cody Hadding.
He was predeceased by brother, Emmett "Bub" Hadding.
A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum, Lima, OH.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, September 30, 2011, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Masonic Service will be conducted by the Ft. Amanda #706 F&AM at 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
