SHIRLEY ANN CYGAN, 70, died at 7:50 a.m. October 28, 2004, at St. Rita's Medical Center. She was born August 7, 1934, in Lima, Ohio, to Don and Thelma Caskey Williams, who preceded her in death. On June 7, 1952, she married Donald Cygan, who survives in Lima, Ohio. Mrs. Cygan was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church, where she as an usher. She was also a cafeteria volunteer at St. Rose School and its Bible class. She was an avid animal lover. Survivors also include a son, Scott (Alice) Cygan of Kalida, Ohio; two daughters, Kelly (Dave) Foust and Chris (Bill) Latham, both of Lima, Ohio; a sister, Linda (C.J.) Howell of Henderson, N. Carolina; and six grandchildren, Alan Cygan, Kevin Cygan, Rachel Cygan, Renee Cygan, Amber Sybert and Nicholas Cygan. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Williams and David Williams; and a sister, Irma Worrilow. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Rose Catholic Church. The Rev. J. Norbert Howe will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima, Ohio. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, where a parish wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Rose School.
