Shirley Ganser

Lima SHIRLEY A. GANSER, 63, died at 5:05 p.m., June 23, 2005, at her residence. She was born Aug. 30, 1941, in Milwaukee to Sadie Martin, who survives. On Dec. 8, 1956, in Roxberry, Wis., she married David William Ganser Sr., who died Feb. 6, 1982. Mrs. Ganser was a homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church. She was an avid reader and loved her grandchildren. Survivors also include four sons, Kenneth Ganser of Lima, Milton (Cathie) Ganser of Waynesfield, David (Pam) Ganser Jr. of Lima and Lee Ganser of Lima; three daughters, Charlotte (Bill) Ganser West of Lima, Lori Kerby of Lima and Christine Dershem of Lima; two sisters, Sadie (Earl) Reible of Sauk City, Wis., and Fran Deckling of Lima; a brother, William (Dyan) Conley of Edgerton, Wis.; and 10 grandchildren, Timothy, David R., Courtney, Justin, Brandon, Billie Marie, Jillian, LeAnn, Charles and Jay Lynn. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Shirley "Snooky" Ganser; a son-in-law, Robert Dershem; and a daughter-in-law, Laura Ganser. Services begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Don Donnelly will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery.
