Shirley Geiser

SHIRLEY J. GEISER, 77, died at 5:07 a.m. November 8, 2005, at Beverly Health Care. She was born April 16, 1928, in Kenton, Ohio to Rowen and Myrtle Blanch McCann Keel, who preceded her in death. On July 26, 1947, she married Richard J. "Dick" Geiser, who died March 3, 2002. Mrs. Geiser retired from the claims department at Auto Owners Insurance Co. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She was a member of Wives of U.S. Submarine Veterans. She collected stamps and coins. Survivors include three brothers, George A. Keel and Clifford G. (Madeline) Keel, both of Kenton, Ohio, and Ron Keel of San Diego, California; a sister, Mary Jane Hart of Phoenix; a nephew, Jeffrey C. (Heather) Keel of Kenton, Ohio; four nieces, Kathleen (Tom) Landsittel of Raleigh, N.C., and Nancy (Stan) Parshall and Michele Nieto, both of Kenton, Ohio, and Alissa Keel of Columbus, Ohio; and two great-nephews and a great-niece. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert A. Keel; and a sister, Ellen L. Waller. Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Lance Armstrong O'Donnell will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
