Sidney Miracle Maxwell

She was born on February 24, 1928 to Cordell and Mossie (Mason) Miracle in Kentucky.
She and David Maxwell were married July 12, 1948. David preceded her in death May 31, 2016.
In younger days, Sundays began early as she and her sisters, Gilberta and Angeline, sang gospel songs on the radio. They could be heard practicing their songs on their front porch daily.
She is survived by two daughters, Elouise (John) Hittle and Joyce Marsee,; five sons, David (Sharon) Maxwell, Steve (Lisa) Maxwell, Jeff (Kim) Maxwell, Tim (Brenda) Maxwell, and Paul Maxwell. She is preceded in death by her third daughter, Kimberly Osting.
Sidney is also survived by two sisters and one brother. She is preceded in death by one brother and three sisters. She also had 21 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Her family will receive friends on Thursday, December 8, 2016 from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima. Her funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM. Pastor Chris Page will officiate. Interment will follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Elida, Ohio
