Sola Hamilton
98, died at 6:30 AM on Monday, November 28, 2016, at Lima Manor Care Center.

Sola was born on Wednesday, March 13, 1918, in Magiffin, Kentucky, to the late Johney Wireman and Dona (Allen) Wireman.

Sola married Miles C. Hamilton on March 25, 1937. He preceded her in death. She had worked for Westinghouse and Yale Brothers Printing and retired as a playground monitor for the Bath Local Schools. She was a member of the Waynesfield Baptist Church and attended the Lima Baptist Temple. She enjoyed watching pro-golf, Ohio State University Football and The Cincinnati Reds.

She is survived by two sons, Harold (Marilyn) Hamilton, of Huntsville, OH and James (Linda) Hamilton, of Lima, OH; four grandchildren, three step grandsons, nine great grandchildren, two great great granddaughters; and a sister. Lucille Wauben, of Waynesfield, OH.

She was preceded in death by five brothers, Edgar, Johnny, Bob, Ray and Bud Wireman and five sisters, Edna DeRosset, Lola Lamb, Laura Fitzpatrick, Betty Young, Ruth Bowdle.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. and 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A funeral service will begin at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, December 2, 2016 at the Waynesfield Baptist Church. Rev. Don Smith will officiate.

Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.
