Starla Rae Osting, 52, died at 8:03 p.m. Oct. 31, 2007, at St. Rita's Medical Center. She was born Aug. 9, 1955, in Lima to Ralph and Betty Poling Good, who preceded her in death. On Nov. 24, 1973, she married Elmer E. Osting, who survives in Cridersville. Mrs. Osting was a homemaker. She enjoyed fishing and movies. She truly loved her grandchildren. Survivors also include two sons, Anthony (Kimberly) Osting and Eric Osting, both of Lima; three sisters, Carla Good, Marcia Good and Greta (Wayne) Nichols, all of Lima; two brothers, Gregory Good and Shane (Kelly) Good, both of Lima; five grandchildren, Christopher Coulter, Ashley Coulter, Alyssa Coulter, Ezabella Osting and Margaret Osting; and two nieces and seven nephews. She was preceded in death by twin sisters, Judy and Joan Good. Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Wanda Werking will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Elida. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
