Stephanie Sue Mian

On September 19, 2021, Stephanie ‘Steph’ (Howard) Mian passed away at St. Rita’s Memorial Hospital. She was 46 years old.

Stephanie is survived by her father James Howard, her mother Vickie McMaster, her son Farhon Thomas Michael Mian, her brothers Roger Howard, Nathaniel Howard and Eric England and her sister Krista Howard.

Stephanie was born January 27, 1975. She attended Lima Senior High School. She later attended Community College of Philadelphia. She married Khalid Mian in 1995. They welcomed their son Thomas to the world February 29, 1996.

Stephanie operated a small daycare for a short time and worked as a certified nursing assistance while attending nursing school in Findley, Ohio until the beginning of a long illness.

Stephanie enjoyed spending time with family, especially at holiday gatherings when able. She adored small children, seniors and family pets. She had an affinity for true crime TV shows, romantic comedies and an occasional action movie.

Throughout her short life her, proudest moment, aside from giving birth to son Thomas, was to be able to witness him graduate with a Bachelor of Science from Ball State University.

Stephanie had strong a Christian faith. She believed that Christ was Son of the living God, that he was crucified on a cross, rose on the third day and through him all can have eternal life.
