Stephen Birchfield

Stephen Birchfield , 53, passed away at 1:57 a.m. on December 7, 2021, at Lima Memorial Health System.

Stephen was born on September 3, 1968, in Lima, Ohio, to Stephen and Nancy (Harleson) Birchfield.

Stephen was an Eagle Scout and a member of the Order of the Arrow. He was an avid Minnesota Viking’s fan and enjoyed playing video games and collecting beanie babies.

He is survived by two children, Luna (Sandra) Birchfield, and Raistlin Birchfield; grandchildren, Penelope and Karliah Birchfield; sister Nancy Lynn Mumma; his domestic partner Melissa Jacobs, and his former wife Jodi Welker.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio.  A funeral service will follow at 12 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family, for his granddaughters.                                        .
