Susan McKinley

Susan K. McKinley 59, died at 2:20 p.m. July 30, 2009, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 17, 1950, in Lima, Ohio to Jacob J. and Gloria A. Mauch Loggi, who preceded her in death. On May 16, 1970, she married Michael L. McKinley, who survives in Lima, Ohio. Mrs. McKinley devoted her life to her family and the children that were under her care. She loved reading and enjoyed playing cards. For more than 30 years she touched the lives of many children through the child care services she provided. Survivors also include a daughter, Melissa (Michael) Glovak, of Michigan; two sons, Justin Michael McKinley, of Washington, and Benjamin Joseph McKinley, of Lima, Ohio; three sisters, Jacqueline (Don) Young and Linda McGraw, both of Lima, Ohio, and Mary (Edward) Siska, of Dallas; a brother, Mark A. Loggi, of Lima, Ohio; and several nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, John B. McGraw; and a sister-in-law, R. Ann Sauer. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Charles Catholic Church. The Rev. Stephen Blum will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery.
