SUSAN K. SCHURR, 59, died at 9:45 p.m. May 22, 2005, at St. Rita's Medical Center. She was born February 17, 1946, in Lima, Ohio to Vernon Bunch and Madonna Fisher Robert. Her father preceded her in death. Her mother survives in Shreveport, Louisiana. She had been married to Daniel O'Keefe, who survives in Defiance, Ohio. Mrs. Schurr sold real estate for several area agencies. She was an avid bingo player at St. Gerard and St. Rose Catholic churches. She loved spending time with her granddaughters. Her legacy lives on with her gift of life through organ donation. Survivors also include two sons, David O'Keefe of Lima, Ohio and Dan O'Keefe Jr. of Marysville, Ohio; three brothers, Bill (Joyce) Smith of Shreveport, Louisiana, Ronald (Patti) Robert of Toledo, Ohio and Fred (Carol) Smith of Lima, Ohio; three sisters, Janelle Patton of Lima, Ohio, Marie Smith of Newport, Kentucky, and Roxanne Robert of Lima, Ohio; two granddaughters, Shaina O'Keefe and Kylie O'Keefe, both of Marysville, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Thomas Smith; and her stepfather, William Robert. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Father David Ritchie will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
