Suzanne Eleanor Kayser,
83, passed away at 7:40 AM on Saturday, October 03, 2015, at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, Ohio.
Suzanne was born on Thursday, March 31, 1932, in Lima, Ohio, to the late Edward P. and Madge (Anderson) Smith. On Sunday, January 20, 1952, in St. Gerard's Catholic Church, Lima, Ohio, she married Carl Edward Kayser who passed away March 6, 2014.
Suzanne worked as a teacher at the Cerebral Palsy Clinic. She was a member of the F.O.E. Eagles #370 Aux., the B.P.O.E. Elks #54, and the Thresians. She belonged to St. Gerard's Catholic Church, Lima, Ohio. She volunteered at St. Rita's Medical center and was a docent at the Allen County Museum.
She is survived by: four daughters, Christine (Dan) McNamara, Elida, Rebecca "Becky" (Randy) Moorman, Lima, Lisa (Tom) Scrianka, Lima, and Leslie (Deno) Kalomas, Thornton, CO; one son, David (Karen Kiggins) Kayser, Elida; grandchildren, Heather (Elmer) Noble, Kapolei, HI, Brian (Ashley) McNamara, Naples, FL, Andrew(Samantha Killilea) McNamara, St. Petersburg, FL, Carl (Joshua Morris) Moorman, Toledo, OH, Zachary Sciranka, New York, NY, Kayla Sciranka, Lima, Jakob Kayser Harvey, Seattle, WA, Austin Kayser, Columbus, Dalton Kayser, Van Wert, Kayla Nolan, Elida, Brittany Nolan, Elida, and Lauren Nolan, Elida; great grandchildren, Makenzy Noble, Alanah Noble, Aaliyah Harvey, Noah Morris and Grace Morris and one brother, Edward P. Smith, Jr.
She is preceded in death by: one sister Nancy Louise Smith.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. with a Parish Wake Service at 7:30 P.M. on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at St. Gerard Catholic Church in Lima, Ohio. Father Mike Houston will officiate. Interment of cremated remains will be at a later date in Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.
