TAMARA "TAMMY" RENE BUTLER-BOWERS

LIMA- Tamara "Tammy" Rene Butler-Bowers, 54, of Lima Oh, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2018 at St. Ritas Medical Center ICU.  She was born July 2, 1964 in Lima, OH to Bill (Deceased) and Billie (Short) Butler.  On May 22, 36 years ago, she met her husband, Denny L. Bowers, who survives.  They married and had two sons, Denny L. Bowers and Joshua W. Bowers.

She is survived by: Her mother Billie (Short) Butler, brothers Scott (Mary) Hicks and Buddy Butler of Lima OH, sons Denny and Joshua Bowers of Lima, OH, grandchildren Arayna and Braxton Bowers of Lima, OH, mother-in-law Lynda (McCoy) Hunt of Lima, OH, sister-in-laws Teresa Davis of Lima, OH, Amy Sockrider of Lima, OH, and Krista Bowers of Florida, and many nieces and nephews.

She attended Wapakoneta High School, UNOH, and Rhodes State College in Lima, OH.

She was a home maker, mother and countless job titles could not describe Tammy.  She attended several churches surrounding the Lima area where she also hosted many benefits and bake sales.

Tammy loved her husband, children and grandchildren to the moon and back! She kept in touch with everyone and never met a stranger.  She was very outspoken, loved to clean her home, spend time with family and friends, cookouts, canoeing, swimming and enjoyed anything that involved family, friends and fun!

A Celebration of Life Service is scheduled to begin from 10a.m.-12p.m. for family and friends on Tuesday July 10, 2018 followed by the service at 12p.m. at Chamberlain Huckeriede Funeral Home on Cable Road Lima, OH.
