Tavonna Pritchett

Tavonna Pritchett, age 55, passed away at 6:34 p.m. on Monday, May 20, 2019, at St. Rita’s Medical Center.

Tavonna was born on September 23, 1963, in Lima, Ohio, to Oscar J. Dixon Sr. and Mary (Sims) Dixon.  She married Judge Pritchett, who preceded her in death.

Tavonna loved to dee jay and dance with a joy for music.  She was also a Minnesota Vikings football fan.

She is survived by her parents, daughter Tavonna R. Pritchett of Lima, three step-sons: Judge Pritchett Jr. of Oregon, Dannie Pritchett and Rodney Pritchett both of Pompano Beach, FL, two sisters: Pamela (Anthony) Gordon of Lima and Tina (Earnest) Townsend of Lima, brother Oscar (Marsha) Dixon Jr. of Lima, many nieces and nephews as well as great-nieces and nephews, and pup-son Blueberry Pritchett.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons: Anthony Jermaine and James Jerome, step-son Jimmie Pritchett.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Philippian Missionary Baptist Church, Lima, Ohio.   The funeral service will then begin at 12 noon. Dr. B. Lamont Monford will officiate.
