Teresa Alexander

Teresa R. Alexander, 46, died October 24, 2008, at St. Rita?s Medical Center. She was born June 7, 1962, in Lima, Ohio to Paul R. and Barbara Jean Metzger Turney. Her father survives in Lima, Ohio. Her mother preceded her in death. On February 12, 1988, she married Roy Alexander, who survives in Lima, Ohio. Mrs. Alexander had been a bus driver for Elida schools and a truck driver for Roeder-Cartage Trucking Co. She was a graduate of Lima Senior High School. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was an avid Cincinnati Bengals fan. Survivors also include three daughters, Jennifer Alexander, Katelyn Alexander and Stacy Alexander, all of Lima, Ohio; a son, Joshua (Roxie) Turney, of Lima, Ohio; two stepsons, Shane (Janet) Alexander, of Lima, Ohio, and Riky (Paula) Alexander, of St. Marys, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Matthew Alexander, Aaron Alexander and Alyssa Alexander, all of St. Marys, Ohio, and Cody Alexander, Nathan Alexander, Justin Alexander, Dante Turney and Ariyana Summerhill, all of Lima, Ohio; three brothers, Robert (Cindy) Neff, of Orlando, Florida, Timothy Turney, of Houston, Texas, and Steven (Holly) Turney, of Boise, Idaho; a sister, Cindy (Randy) Mayfield, of Somerset, Kentucky; a niece, Stephanie Turney, of Virginia; and two nephews, Ben Lindsay, of Kentucky, and Matthew Neff, of Orlando, Florida. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jeffrey L. Turney. Services will begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Pastor David Stanford will officiate.
