Terrence "Terry" Keith Stepleton,
61, passed away at 5:32 p.m. on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at St. Rita's Hospital, Lima.
Terry was born in Lima on September 20, 1955 to James and Rosemary Stepleton who both survive him. He married Mary R. Pisle, June 20, 1981, she survives in Lima.
He was a graduate from Lima Senior High School, class of 1974 and attended Ohio State University. Terry started his working life as a shoe salesman and store manager, then selling records. He retired from General Dynamics as a tank mechanic, where he worked for 30 years and was a proud member of UAW2075.
He is survived by his children, Andrew Stepleton of Lima and Megan (Christopher) Fenton of Croton-on-Hudson, New York; siblings, Carol (Kent) Shoemaker of Lima, Adele (James) Gallagher of Falls Church, Virginia and John Stepleton of Lima; brother-in-law, John (Heather) Pisle of Lima and sister-in-law, Catherine (Bowman) Brown of Charlotte, North Carolina; father-in-law, Russell (Rusty) Pisle; nieces and nephews, Shawn Stepleton of Cincinnati; Lauren and Ryan Stepleton of Lima; Shana (Brian) Taylor of Lima; Kevin (Eleni) Pisle of Black Lick; Kristen (Nate) Powelson of Convoy; Kimberly Shoemaker of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina; Meredith (Sam) Sinclair of Hingham, Massachusetts and Alex Brown of Charlotte, North Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law Margaret M. Pisle.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 10, 2017 from 5:30PM-8:30PM at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, OH and one hour prior to the service at the church.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 11 A.M., St. Lukes Lutheran Church, Lima, Ohio.
