Thelma Marie Brown, 81, of Delphos, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at 8:29 P.M. at her residence.
Thelma was born on October 24, 1931 in Hardin County to Elwood Decker and Mary (Collins) Decker who both preceded her in death. On August 26, 1951 she married Don Calvin Brown, Sr. and he preceded her in death on July 18, 1998.
She was a born again Christian and was a woman of great faith. She enjoyed floral crafts.
Surviving are two sons Don C. (Sandy) Brown, Jr. of Palmetto, FL and Dennis L. (Kelly) Brown of Lima, OH; four daughters Deborah K. Brown of Glenpool, OK, Rebecca S. (Tim) Rich of Lima, OH, Dawn M. (Dan) Cross of Broken Arrow, OK and Denise A. Brown of Wapakoneta, OH; six grandchildren Jenny (Bryan), Angie, Kristen (Jeff), Caleb, Chloe and Jewell; two great grandchildren Danielle and Brooke; three sisters Mary Isaacson of Winder, GA, Betty (Jim) Britt of Lima, OH and Barb Goodwin of Wapakoneta, OH and a sister in law Betty McLaughlin of Lima, OH.
She was preceded in death by a grandson Joel Brown; a brother Ike McLaughlin; two sisters Dorothy Myers and Ann Decker.
There will be no visitation and private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.
