THELMA ARLENE MAUK FRAIL, 77, died at 10:50 p.m. April 15, 2007, at her residence. She was born August 9, 1929, in Lima, Ohio to Harry Eldon and Sarah Edith Densmore Mauk, who preceded her in death. She was married on July 3, 1949, to Darrel E. "Skip" Frail, who died December 4, 2005. Mrs. Frail was a member of Lima Baptist Temple, the Christian Women's Club and Friendship Bible Studies. Survivors include a daughter, Joyce (Steve) Parlette, of Gahanna, Ohio; two sons, Doug Frail, of Lima, Ohio, and Dan (Joy) Frail, of Lima, Ohio; a son-in-law, John Brentlinger, of Vaughnsville, Ohio; six grandchildren, John (Lynette) Brentlinger, Joel (Lynn) Brentlinger, James Brentlinger, Amelia (Kedron) Rhodes, Jason (Shayna) Parlette, Ben Frail, and Beth Frail; six great-grandchildren, Johnny Mac Brentlinger, Olivia Brentlinger, Ilana Rhodes, Titus Rhodes, Jordan Parlette, and Ava Parlette; and two sisters, Albertha "Bert" (Ron) Stiles, of Lima, Ohio, and Betty (Bill) Placie, of Lima, Ohio. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jan Frail Brentlinger; a grandchild, Rebecca Frail; a sister, Erma Bolender; and 10 brothers, Raymond Mauk, Bill Mauk, Corey Mauk, Frank Mauk, Harold Mauk, Fred Mauk, Jim Mauk, Karl Mauk, Dick Mauk and Gene Mauk. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Pastor Ronald B. Cannon will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.
