Thelma “Jeanette” Gossard went to her heavenly home on February 1, 2022.
She was born March 12, 1927 in Allen County to Herschel and Mary Good Brenneman who preceded her in death. On August 29, 1954 she married Clair Roger Gossard who died April 15, 2007.
Jeanette was a home-maker and enjoyed many hobbies including sewing, vegetable, tree and flower gardening, studying genealogy, refinishing furniture, reading, and singing many hymns as she worked. She had a passion for helping those in need as well as spreading the good news of Jesus Christ to everyone she came in contact with.
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” She displayed a full-size cross in her front yard to remind all of Jesus’ sacrifice for our sins on the cross, encouraging them to return to Jesus. She was a member of Pike Mennonite Church, Elida, Ohio. Her deep faith constantly sustained her.
Survivors include a son, Ted (Debbie) Gossard of Wyoming, Michigan; a daughter, Maxine (Steve) Ketcham of Allen, Texas; a daughter, Cheryl (Bill) Davis of Perrysburg, Ohio; eight grandchildren: Tiffany, Douglas, Angela, Andrea, Jenna, Jamie, Jessica, Jason; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Joan Thoman of West Liberty, Ohio; a sister, Charlotte Brenneman who is deceased; and a half-brother, Carroll Brenneman who is deceased.

Services will be held at Pike Mennonite Church Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 11 a.m., proceeded by visitation at 10 a.m. A brief graveside service will be held at Pike Cemetery.
