THELMA J. BROOKS WILSON, 71, died at 11:45 p.m. October 2, 2005, at her residence. She was born August 29, 1934, in Middlesboro, Kentucky, to Marshall and Selena Pritchard Brooks Sr., who preceded her in death. On February 26, 1955, in Claiborne County, Tennessee, she married William A. Wilson, who survives in Lima, Ohio. Mrs. Wilson was a member of Faith Missionary Church, Rushmore, Ohio, and had been a Sunday school teacher in her early years. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who was truly devoted to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Survivors also include five children, William E. (Beth) Wilson, Cathy (David) Wright, Marsha (Randall) Parsons, Ronnie D. Wilson and Wanda Lyons, all of Lima, Ohio; two brothers, Robert (Donna) Brooks and Larry (Charlotte) Brooks, both of Lima, Ohio; 17 grandchildren; and an aunt, Cordie Turner of Oak Ridge, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Curtis Brooks and Marshall Brooks Jr.; and a sister, Ruth Alsept. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Lafayette Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Robert Morrison and the Rev. Kenny Waldroup will officiate. Burial will be in Lafayette Cemetery, Lafayette.
