Thomas ?Tom? Fleming, 64, died at 9:30 p.m. March 2, 2009, at his residence. He was born Sept. 17, 1944, in Lima to Harley J. and Muriel Patricia Peterson Fleming, who preceded him in death. His wife, Joycelynn Fleming, died in November 2000. On June 18, 2001, he married Vilma Judith Nino Gomez, who survives in Las Vegas. Mr. Fleming retired as a senior master sergeant from the Air Force after 22 years. He attended South Side Christian Church. Survivors also include three sons, Thomas W. Fleming, of Alexandria, Va., Joseph D. Fleming, of Dale City, Va., and Jeremy V. Fleming, of Fairfax, Va.; two grandchildren, Rachel Fleming and Arwyn Fleming; three sisters, Nancy J. (Ted Takacs) Fleming, of Olmstead Falls, Rebecca Fleming, of Lima, and Roberta L. (George R. ?Bob?) Dupes, of Lewisburg, Pa.; and two aunts, Jean A. (Robert) Swick and June Klopp, both of Lima. He was preceded in death by an uncle, Robert Klopp. Graveside services will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday in Shawnee Cemetery, with military rites by the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Honor Guard.
