Thomas Gardner

Thomas S. Gardner, 82, died at 3:55 a.m. October 7, 2010, at Otterbein Care Center. He was born December 13, 1927, in Clyde, Ohio to Thomas B. and Lucy Musser Gardner, who preceded him in death. On November 23, 1948, he married Lupe Ramirez, who died March 29, 2010. Mr. Gardner retired as a biomedical engineer from Terrebonne General Hospital, Houma, La. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He was an avid NASCAR fan and loved old cars. Survivors include a son, Thomas W. (Belinda S.) Gardner, of Canal Winchester, Ohio; two daughters, Catherine Sue (David) Koeple, of Washington state, and Bonnie (Brian) Pennington, of Lima, Ohio; and 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Jennie Catherine. Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Thomas William Gardner will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 8:30 a.m. until time of services Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contribution may be made to a charity of the donor?s choice.
