Travis Matthew Sparrow,

39, passed away August 3, 2015, at his residence in Lima.

Travis was born November 8, 1975 in Lima, Ohio.

Travis graduated from Shawnee High School in 1994 and Bradford School of Graphic Design in 1998. He worked in graphic arts and design for many years and then branched out on his own as a freelance photographer and graphic designer. Travis was a technology wizard and helped his family and friends design materials, with computer issues, iPhone questions, speaker and television connections. He would fix the problem and then patiently teach us what we had done wrong. Travis had a passion for computers, photography, reading, music and life itself.

Travis is survived by his mother and step-father, Karen and Larry Stayonovich; daughter, Avarie Sparrow of Columbus and son, Micah Wilson of St. Marys. Travis is also survived by his sisters, Krista (Chris) Sprouse and Alicia Stayonovich, grandfather Richard Sparrow and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Stephen Sparrow.

Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, August 10 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 301 West Market Street, Lima, Ohio. Friends may call from 3:00 to 6:00 Monday at the church.
