Trudy R. Denison

Trudy R. Denison, 51, died at 10:58 PM on Friday, January 02, 2015, at her residence in Lima, Ohio.

Trudy was born on Monday, December 16, 1963, in Veedersberg, Indiana, to the late Robert Sims and Janet (Petty) Sims. On August 03, 1991 she married David Denison who survives.

Trudy was a school bus driver for the Shawnee Local Schools and Apollo Joint Vocational for 15 years. She also enjoyed working at Kohls and the many friends she made there. She had been a den mother for Boy Scouts Pack 37. She was an avid baker, seamstress and enjoyed gardening.

She is also survived by: daughter, Danielle Denison and son, Tyler Denison, both of Lima; a grandson, Caden Denison; brother's, Steve Sims of Columbus and Ken (Bobbie) Sims, of Lima; and a sister Dena Dodson, of Catlin,IL.

She is preceded by her brother Daniel Sims.

The family will receive friends from 12 P.M. until 2 P.M. on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio followed by a memorial service at 2 P.M.

Rev. Bryan Bucher will officiate.

The interment of ashes will be at Shawnee Cemetery.
