Twylah Marie Hoehn, 79, died at 10 a.m. Oct. 19, 2010, at her residence, surrounded by her family. She was born Sept. 5, 1931, in Lima to Eloise Copeland, who preceded her in death. On Nov. 11, 1950, she married Norbert Hoehn, who survives in Lima. Mrs. Hoehn graduated from Lima Central High School. She was an avid tennis player. She retired after 20 years from the Allen County Probate Court, where she worked for Judge Jenkins. She had also worked at Blattners and for Tupperware. She was a member of St. Gerard Catholic Church, where she was a member of its Altar Rosary Society. She was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 370 Auxiliary and Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks Lodge 54. She had been a den mother and an avid spectator and cheerleader of all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren?s sporting events. Her greatest treasures in life were her family and friends. She loved being with them and laughing with them. Survivors also include two sons, Michael (Lisa) Hoehn, of Lima, and Chris Hoehn, of Marysville; a daughter, Deb (Ed) Warniment, of Tipp City; six grandchildren, Jason (Heather) Hoehn and Megan (Brian) Scheid, both of Lima, Kelly Warniment, of Columbus, Brian Warniment, of Beavercreek, Amanda Hoehn, of Columbus, and Adam (Nichole) Hoehn, of Lima; and five great-grandchildren Lariah, Landon, Collin, Noah and Kaden. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Corey Hoehn. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Gerard Catholic Church. Father Joy Poonoly will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery.
