Valeda loved life. She also enjoyed singing and being around children. She volunteered at Independence Elementary School.
Surviving are: two sons, Xavier Thomas of Lima, OH and Brandon Thomas of Lima, OH: a brother, Gary Thomas of Lima, OH; a brother, Michael Thomas of Lima, OH; a sister, Tavena Thomas of Columbus, OH; a sister Shalaka Thomas of Lima, OH; a sister Shana Thomas of Columbus, OH a sister, Shontia Thomas of Columbus, OH; a sister, Jacqueline Pearson of Ft. Wayne, IN; a sister, Tinika Pearson of Ft. Wayne, IN; a brother, Kit Pearson of Ft. Wayne, IN; a sister, Nekosha Pearson of Ft. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday, October 12, 2012, at Grace Church World Wide Ministries.
A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Friday at Grace Church World Wide Ministries, 2945 Wells Dr., Lima, Ohio 45804, with the Pastor Ron Fails officiating.
Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Lima, OH.
