VAUGHN J. PIPER, 60, died at 6:25 a.m. April 28, 2007, at Triumph Hospital. He was born August 16, 1946, in Lima, Ohio to Virgil and Dorothy Miller Piper, who preceded him in death. On September 17, 1966, he married Linda Sites, who survives in Lima, Ohio. Mr. Piper was a tool and die maker by trade and was employed as the machine shop manager for Findlay Industries. He attended Bible Believers Church. He enjoyed gunsmithing, hunting and fishing, and playing the violin. Survivors also include a daughter, Kelly (Jonathan) Goff, of Texas; four sons, Paul (Larissa) Piper, of Wapakoneta, Ohio, Aaron Piper, of Texas, Joseph (Natanya) Piper, of Lima, Ohio, and Justin (Amanda) Piper, of Texas; two brothers, Larry Piper, of Lima, Ohio, and Mike (Karen) Piper, of California; two sisters, Patsy Greenwood, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Jean (Chuck) Manning, of Virginia; and 10 grandchildren, Joshua, Naomi, Ariana, Ivan, Leya, Meaghan, Amberly, Tabitha, Emma and Isaac. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Don Piper and Dick Piper. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bible Believers Church. Pastor Craig Booher and Brother Isiah Brooks will officiate.
