Vickie Boruff

VICKIE L. BORUFF, 58, died at 10:10 p.m. December 8, 2006, at St. Rita's Medical Center. She was born March 27, 1948, to Robert and Virginia McKinley Adams, who survive in Lima, Ohio. On October 15, 1966, she married Michael Boruff, who survives. Mrs. Boruff worked at Wal-Mart for 13 years. She loved to read and enjoyed road trips through Amish country. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. She was loved by all who knew her. Survivors also include, a daughter, Melissa (Joe Papp) Spurlin, of Lima,Ohio; a son, Michael Paul Boruff, of Lima, Ohio; three sisters, Pam (Paul) Hedges, of Lima, Ohio, Becky Brewer, of Lakeview, Ohio, and Lisa (Mike) Vonderembse, of Lima, Ohio; two brothers, Bobby (Felecia) Adams, of Cridersville, Ohio, and Brian Adams; three grandchildren, Tycent Spurlin, Emily Spurlin and Cory Spurlin, all of Lima, Ohio and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Mike Brewer. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Pastor Gary Hohman will officiate. Burial will be in Shawnee Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
