Vincenta Hall Eley

Vincenta M. Hall-Eley, 92, died at 11:42 a.m. September 6, 2008, at Lima Convalescent Home. She was born July 27, 1916, in Chicago, Illinois to Charles and Susan Jendalaite Trakas, who preceded her in death. In 1933, she married Grover W. Hall Sr., who died in 1959. In 1972, she married Wilbur Eley, who died in 1999. Mrs. Hall-Eley worked at Westinghouse Corp., the Lima Tuberculosis Hospital and Northland Bowling Lanes. She was a member of St. Gerard Catholic Church. She was an avid traveler and loved to cook. Survivors include a daughter, Shirley & (Irvin) Delong of Delphos, Ohio; son, Allan & (Mary Lee) Hall of Lima, Ohio; daughter, Rosanna Wolfe of Lima, Ohio; son, Grover W. (Patricia Covalt, Partner) Hall, Jr. of Centennial, CO.; step-daughter, Linda & (Rick) Hackworth of Lima, Ohio; step daughter, Carol & (Clifford) Haines of Columbus Grove, Ohio; step son, Charles & (Barbara) Eley of Lima, Ohio; step son, Glen (Elizabeth) Eley of Lima, Ohio; grandchildren, fourteen; step grandchildren, seven; great grandchildren, twenty seven; step great grandchildren, thirty one; great great grandchildren, two; step great great grandchildren thirteen. She was preceded in death by, son Gary Hall; daughter-in-law; Cindy Ulm Hall; son-in-law, Paul L. Wolfe; grand daughter, Tonya D. Wolfe; step grandson, Alan J. Beard; step grandson, C. Gene Delong; brothers and sister, seven Services will begin at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Stephen Blum will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lima Convalescent Home Foundation.
