VIRGIL H. MILLER, 84, died at 8:48 a.m. June 6, 2006, at his residence. He was born July 18, 1921, in Lima, Ohio to Marion Henry and Mary Edith Hess Miller, who preceded him in death. On June 19, 1949, in West Alexandria, Ohio, he married Glenna Mae Brubaker, who survives in Elida, Ohio. Mr. Miller was a farmer. He was a member of the Old German Baptist Brethren Church. He served in Civilian Public Service from November 1942 to April 1946, in Largo, Indiana, and Marian, Virginia. He loved farming. Survivors also include a daughter, Carol (Glen) Angle of Elida, Ohio; a son, Merle (Ruth) Miller of Elida, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Justin Angle, Lance Miller, Michelle Angle, Ashley Miller, Jacob Angle, Galen Miller, Hannah Angle and Clayton Miller; three sisters, Catherine Koenig, Hazel Dunn and Louise Klopfenstein; two brothers, Robert (Martha) Miller and Marion (Betty) Miller; a sister-in-law, Lola Fisher; and two brothers-in-law, Don Brubaker and Junior (Joyce) Brubaker. Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Old German Baptist Brethren Church. The church elders will officiate. Burial will be in Ash Grove Cemetery.
