VIRGINIA ROSE FRUEH, 85, died at 1:15 p.m. June 18, 2006, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio. She was born May 4, 1921, in Emporia, Kansas, to Edward Diehl and V. Erma Smith Diehl-Bronson, who preceded her in death. On September 13, 1941, she married Camillus V. "Bud" Frueh, who survives in Lima, Ohio. Mrs. Frueh was a member of Forest Park United Methodist Church and its Woman's Workday Program and was a volunteer for church functions. She had been a volunteer at Lima Memorial Hospital and former president of the Lima Senior Spartans Mothers Club. She was a loving and devoted wife of nearly 65 years. She loved knitting and spending time with her grandkids, friends and relatives. Survivors also include two sons, Gary L. (Sheila) Frueh and Steven A. (Susan) Frueh, both of Lima, Ohio; a half sister, Betty Miller of Emporia, Kansas; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Forest Park United Methodist Church. The Rev. Derek Russell will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
