Virginia Gauggel

Virginia E. ?Ginny? Gauggel 73, died at 7:48 a.m. July 4, 2009, at her residence. She was born March 6, 1936, in Allen County, Ohio to Blake and Imogene Brewer Guthrie, who preceded her in death. On January 13, 1959, she married Robert Gauggel Jr., who died February 11, 1991. Mrs. Gauggel was a homemaker. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary. Survivors include three daughters, Valerie (Greg) Tomlinson, of Lima, Ohio, Deb Stuby Sellers, of Lima, Ohio, and Teresa Murphy, of Cairo, Ohio; a son, William James, of Lima, Ohio; two brothers, Norman (Eileen) Guthrie, of Bowling Green, Ohio, and Dwaine (Deloris) Guthrie, of Lima, Ohio; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and special friend, Gene Schumaker. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Abbe Grace Sellers. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Wanda Werking will officiate. Burial will be in Lafayette Cemetery, Lafayette, Ohio. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to an organization of the donor?s choice.
