Virginia A. "Ginny" Gorman,
85 of Lima, Ohio Dec. 25, 2011 & 4:30 A.M. at home.
Born January 25, 1926 in Lima, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Harry Graham and the late Valeria McPheron Graham.
Virginia married Robert E. Gorman on May 29, 1948 he preceded her in death on February 14, 2011. She retired from Westinghouse after 35 years. She was a member of St. Gerard's Catholic Church and their Altar Rosary and Choir. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary, Orioles, and Sweet Adalines. She loved bowling, cards and traveling. Most of all she loved spending time with family and friends.
Surviving are son, Mark (Michelle) Gorman of Eastlake, OH, daughters, Cheryl (James) Peters of Lima, OH and Karen (Russell) Schutte of Pittsburg, PA., six grandchildren, Gregory (Marlie) Peters of Toledo, OH, Victoria (John) Schnieders of Lima, OH, Jeffrey (Tara) Peters of Bowling Green, OH, Cara Gorman of Pittsburg, PA., Kodi Schutte of Pittsburg, PA., and Talia Aponte of Eastlake, OH. Four Great Grandchildren, Jacob Schnieders, Corinne Schnieders, Bridgette Peters, and Julia Peters. Four sisters-in-law Elizabeth "Betty" Graham Rose Rita Gorman, Rose Gorman, and Linda (John) Dodge, a brother-in-law, Bill (Elaine) Gorman and numerous nieces and nephews. A special thank you to all Virginia's Caregivers for their wonderful care.
She was predeceased by brothers, Henry "Bud" (Ginny) Graham, Robert Graham, Fr. John "Jack" Graham C.Ss.R. and Donald (Elizabeth) Graham; sisters, Sister Mary Henrietta Graham, Rita (Phil) Tischer, LeAnna (Dick) Harding, Dolores (James) Loughrin, Margaret Graham.
Visitation times and date: Thursday, December 29, 2011 from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, with a Wake service at 8:00 P.M.
Mass of Christian Burial: Friday, December 30, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Gerard's Catholic Church.
Cemetery: Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima, OH.
