Virginia Taylor, 81, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at Lima Memorial Hospital.
Virginia was born on July 31, 1941 in Monroe, Michigan, to Kermit W. and Rena L. (Crum) Berger.
Virginia was a machinist at General Dynamics for many years. She dearly loved taking care of her kids and grandkids.
She is survived by her son, Steve (Maggie) Taylor Sr.; son, Paul (Jessie) Taylor Jr., daughter, Annette Davenport-Taylor; son, David (Holly) Taylor; grandchildren: Stephen Taylor Jr., Jacob Taylor, Dustin Taylor, Rainee Taylor, Hayley Taylor, Michael Davenport, Tai (Brandy) Davenport Sr., Desiree Davenport, Courtney (Cody) Hill, and Hannah Taylor; great-grandchildren: Obito (Toby) Taylor, Kayedance Taylor, Rainalou McCartney, Raya Biederman, Tyler Biederman, Judah Taylor, Tai Davenport Jr., Saint Davenport, Ameer Fisher, Jayecon Fisher, Ryan Hill and Brooks Hill; four step-grandchildren: Kelsey Guyton, Selena Guyton, Nathaniel Guyton, Jericho Guyton; sisters, Karen (Duey) Edwards and Doris Komisarek; and long-time friend, Edward “Sonny” Fish.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, William Berger; and sister, Linda Mills.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Monday, March 6, 2023 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. Rev. Eileen Kochensparger will officiate. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Lima.
