Voughn E. Hart, 60, died at 11:08 a.m. March 11, 2008, at his residence. He was born November 4, 1947, in Columbus, Ohio to Cletus V. and Ivolene Brown Hart. His father preceded him in death. His mother and stepfather, Ivolene (Willy) Hicks-Keykens, survive in Sidney, Ohio. On March 4, 1978, in Russells Point, Ohio, he married Peggy Harris, who survives in Lima, Ohio. Mr. Hart had worked at C.H. Heist Corp., Freightliner and AAP. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275 and a life member of its Military Order of Cooties. He was also a member of American Legion Post 96, Orioles Nest 173 and the Chained Eagles. He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War, serving from December 8, 1964, to December 18, 1974. He received the Purple Heart, the Combat Action Ribbon and the Vietnam Gallantry Cross Medal. He was a NASCAR fan. Survivors include two daughters, Anna Hart and Tonya Hart, both of Oklahoma; a sister, Beth Hart Collins, of Lakeview; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Hart, of Texas; a stepbrother, Leslie Stratford, of England; two grandchildren, Johnathan and Jasmine Hart, both of Oklahoma; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Chris S. Hart; maternal grandparents, David and Zelma Brown; paternal grandparents, Russell and Irene Hart; his stepfather, Lawrence Hicks; and several aunts and uncles. Graveside services will begin at 11 a.m. Monday in the Dayton VA Cemetery, Dayton. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
