W. Ansel Lloyd ,
79, died at 4:00 PM on Monday, May 04, 2015, at Springview Manor Nursing Home in Lima, Ohio.

Ansel was born on February 28, 1936, in Versailles, Kentucky, to the late Charles H. Lloyd and Helen G. (Sanders) Lloyd.

He married Lois E. Thornton on November 4, 1978. She preceded him in death on January 24, 2005. He was a member of the Eagles Aerie #370-Lima and a former member Elks B.P.O.E. 54 (27 yrs.).

He is survived by: two step daughters, Chris Rockhold, of Worthington, OH. and Darla Costa-Wintersteller of Lima, OH; two step sons, Maurice "Butch" (Vicky) Delap and Robert Delap, both of Wapakoneta, OH; a brother, Glen (Christine) Lloyd, of Cullman, AL; step grandchildren, Allison (John) Basinger, Michael Costa, Joshua Delap, Lela Delap, and David Delap; two nephews, Jason (Kelly) Lloyd and Joe (Leighanne) Lloyd both of Alabama.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert D. Lloyd.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Friday, May 08, 2015 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 08, 2015 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, OH.

Interment will be in Allentown Cemetery, Allentown, Ohio.
